The SOUL: Promo Video
The Self-Organizing Units Lab (SOUL) is spearheading cognition-in-a-dish research, using bioengineered brains and high-density microelectrode arrays to understand learning, consciousness, and design bioinspired AI
Brain_Glitch
Brain_Glitch is a visual arts project that combines signal processing and neuroscience. Images of brains are converted to bitmaps, imported to audio processing software, filtered, and re-converted to "glitched" images.
The brain is the original biocomputer - with tissue engineering, we can build and assemble biocomputing modules, inspired by neural structure-function
A Conversation About Photoencephalography (PEG)
Photoencephalography (PEG) is a novel neuroimaging technology that was co-invented by Dr. Nirosha Murugan and Dr. Nicolas Rouleau of the Center for Tissue Plasticity and Biophysics (TPAB). In this podcast, Dr. Rouleau discusses PEG with Dr. Bruno Chikly.
Click here to see PEG featured in Scientific American.
Ionic Culture
Ionic Culture is a science-inspired electronic music project directed by The SOUL's very own Cooper Kansala.
